The 61st Street Service Corporation
The mission of the 61st Street Service Corporation is to provide service oriented Human Resource and Payroll services to physicians and their faculty practices. We strive to develop and implement Human Resources policies that support and maintain a flexible workplace that is in compliance with all applicable federal and state laws.
The Service Corporation has grown substantially in the last five years. Our employee population has grown from approximately 200 employees to one thousand employees since 1998. We service employees in a total of 39 faculty practice locations throughout the tri-state area.
90 Day Introductory Period
All employees are in an introductory/orientation period during their first 90 days of employment. During this period of time, the employee can determine if this new job is suitable for them, and the supervisor/manager will have an opportunity to evaluate the employee's performance. In addition, should an employee transfer to a new position within the Service Corporation, the 90 day introductory period begins again for the newly accepted position.
Note, completion of the introductory period does not guarantee employment for any period of time thereafter.
