Attention TransitChek Participants As a result of the new MTA budget plan passed by New York State lawmakers on May 6th, the MTA has confirmed new fares that will now go into effect on June 28th for New York City Transit subway and buses, MTA Bus and LI Bus; and June 17th for Long Island Rail Road and Metro-North Railroad. New fares for monthly commuter rail passes will go into effect on July 1st. New Jersey Transit and PATH fares are not impacted. <br> <br>If you use the Premium TransitChek® MetroCard®, a one month grace period is being provided for the month of July during which time you can continue to use the Card. Your benefit will automatically increase to the new fare of $89 per month, effective for your August benefit month. <br> <br>If you use TransitChek® Vouchers, the TransitChek® Card, a prepaid Visa® card, or Ticket-By-Mail Crediting you should check for changes in your commuting cost and adjust your benefit by May 15th. <br> <br>You can adjust your benefit by calling 1.800.773.1327. <br> Career Opportunities Not an employee?
